Czarne is a well-esstablished publishing house based in Wołowiec in southeast Poland with an office in Warsaw.
Czarne specializes in European prose and non-fiction and is a leading reportage and travelogue publisher in Poland. It is renowned for introducing Eastern and Central European authors and publishing a wide range of documentary literature, outstanding prose, essays, and memoirs. We regularly participate in Polish and international book fairs, and cooperate with many foreign publishers and agencies. Our authors and translators received numerous important nominations and awards. We actively take part in Polish literary life, arrange meetings with our authors (promotional tours around Poland, press, radio and TV interviews), engage in cultural projects and launch successful promotion campaigns.
